We are looking for an experienced and innovative Director of Marketing to lead our company's marketing efforts in Southfield, Michigan. This role is pivotal in shaping and implementing strategies that drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and foster customer engagement. As a key member of the leadership team, the ideal candidate will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring all marketing initiatives align with business objectives. This is an exciting growth position focused on building a marketing department from the ground up, shaping and directing marketing strategies, and hiring future marketing team members. What You’ll Do • Own and execute the company’s overall marketing strategy • Define brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling • Lead a website refresh and cohesive brand presence • Drive product marketing, content, campaigns, and demand generation • Support global and international growth initiatives • Manage conferences, trade shows, and industry events • Partner closely with the CEO, sales, and leadership team • Build and lead a small marketing team over time • Manage external vendors and agencies as needed What We’re Looking For • 5-7+ years of progressive marketing experience • Background in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or other regulated/technical industries • Proven experience building or scaling a marketing function • Strong brand, product marketing, and go‑to‑market expertise • Hands‑on leader comfortable executing as well as strategizing • Experience supporting international or global markets preferred • Trade show and event marketing experience • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, brand management, content creation, and performance analytics • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies in a growing or small business environment • Preferred experience in regulated or technical industries and familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce Culture & Fir • Entrepreneurial, self‑directed, and growth‑driven • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a talent for storytellinf • Comfortable rolling up sleeves in a fast‑moving environment • Motivated by ownership, autonomy, and long‑term impact • Collaborative partner to executive leadership • Strong strategic thinking, adaptability, and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings Why This Role • First marketing leadership hire - full ownership • Direct partnership with a visionary CEO • Profitable, established SaaS product with global reach • High visibility, long‑term growth, and strong resume value
