Energy company has an immediate opening for a detail-oriented Legal Operations Specialist to join the legal team! In this role, you will oversee critical processes such as contract lifecycle management, e-billing, and invoice review while driving operational efficiency within the legal department. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the overall success of corporate legal operations. This position is remote however you must be located in one of the following time zones for consideration: CST, MST, or PST. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience supporting in-house legal teams with CLM management and legal e-billing. Key Responsibilities: • Manage e-billing processes using Brightflag: communicate with outside counsel, review and track legal invoices, and oversee matter management. • Collaborate on legal budgets and assist with invoice review to ensure compliance and efficiency. • Support the legal team with agreement storage and workflows in Evisort for contract lifecycle management (CLM). • Serve as a technical liaison with the Evisort vendor, assisting with platform updates and troubleshooting. • Occasionally assist in contract review and redlining. • Maintain effective communication within the legal department and with external vendors and counsel. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting in-house legal teams in a legal operations, paralegal, or related capacity. • Proficiency with CLM systems (Evisort experience a plus but not required); must provide examples of hands-on CLM work. • Significant experience with e-billing platforms (Brightflag preferred, similar tools acceptable). • Comfortable performing routine administrative tasks and managing digital records. • Must be located in and available to work full-time hours remotely in PST, MST, or CST time zones.
