Full Description

Overview Client is seeking an LMS Application Support Analyst to provide Tier 2/3 support for its Learning Management System, primarily Canvas. This role is focused on LMS administration, user support, and troubleshooting rather than heavy system configuration or development. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, responsive, and comfortable supporting both students and faculty in a fast-paced academic environment. This position offers growth potential, including opportunities to expand into Canvas Catalog enhancements and broader LMS initiatives over time. Key Responsibilities • Provide Tier 2/3 application support for the Canvas LMS • Troubleshoot LMS issues related to users, courses, enrollments, permissions, and access • Support students and faculty with LMS-related questions and technical issues • Manage, track, and resolve support tickets using Freshservice • Monitor and support LTI integrations and third-party tools connected to Canvas • Assist with day-to-day LMS administration (excluding heavy configuration or development) • Collaborate with internal teams on LMS enhancements and initiatives • Document issues, resolutions, and support processes • Take on new responsibilities and initiatives as the LMS environment evolves Required Skills & Experience • Hands-on experience supporting Canvas LMS • Experience providing Tier 2/3 application support • Working knowledge of Freshservice or similar ITSM/ticketing tools • Familiarity with Workday, including user provisioning, integrations, or downstream impacts • Experience supporting LTI integrations • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills • Experience with Canvas Catalog • Prior experience in a higher education environment • Exposure to LMS enhancement, optimization, or modernization initiatives
