We're partnering with a growing organization seeking a full-time Jira & Agile Project Manager to become the internal owner of Jira, Agile project processes, and cross-functional project visibility across the business. This is a highly visible, net-new position with the opportunity to shape how projects are managed across the organization. You'll work directly with project management, IT, and business stakeholders to improve accountability, increase efficiency, and drive adoption of Jira-powered project management processes. What You'll Be Doing • Own and improve Jira usage across multiple internal teams and departments • Configure and maintain Jira workflows, dashboards, boards, permissions, reporting, and project structures • Support and optimize Jira Service Management (JSM) ticketing workflows • Drive Agile and Scrum best practices throughout the organization • Facilitate project visibility, prioritization, and accountability • Create project plans, documentation, reports, dashboards, and roadmaps • Train users and help increase adoption of Jira and Agile processes • Partner with leadership and stakeholders to streamline project execution • Support ongoing process improvement and operational initiatives • Help standardize how internal projects are managed across the business You Are Likely a Great Fit If You: • Have hands-on experience configuring Jira—not just using it • Have worked with Jira Service Management (JSM) • Have built or maintained dashboards, workflows, permissions, automation rules, boards, or reporting structures • Have helped standardize project processes and improve adoption across teams • Understand Agile and Scrum methodologies and can confidently explain their value to stakeholders • Enjoy working directly with business users, project managers, and leadership teams • Are comfortable driving change and influencing people without direct authority • Have experience supporting business systems, operational projects, PMO initiatives, software implementations, or internal process improvements • Want an opportunity to become the Jira subject matter expert within an organization Preferred Experience • Jira Software • Jira Service Management (JSM) • Atlassian Suite • Confluence • Agile • Scrum • Change Management • PMO / Project Operations • Business Systems Projects • Process Improvement • Jira Product Discovery (nice-to-have) • Atlassian Certifications (nice-to-have) • PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or related certifications (nice-to-have) We are not looking for: ❌ Only Jira experience is updating tickets, assigning work, or participating in standups ❌ Someone who has never configured Jira workflows, dashboards, permissions, project settings, or reporting ❌ Candidates looking exclusively for a software development, engineering, or system administrator role ❌ Managing external clients rather than working with internal stakeholders ❌ A fully remote candidate Why This Opportunity? • Newly created position with strong visibility • Opportunity to own and shape Jira strategy internally • Partner directly with leadership and cross-functional teams • Significant influence on how projects are executed across the organization • Long-term career growth as project management and business systems capabilities continue to expand
