A rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking a FP& A Analyst to join their team on a contract basis in Branchburg, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing financial data, creating models, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and modeling, with the ability to handle complex data sets and produce actionable recommendations.FP& A Analyst Responsibilities:• Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support business planning and strategy.• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and evaluate business performance.• Prepare ad hoc financial reports to address specific management inquiries or project needs.• Perform variance analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data.• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data-driven evaluations.• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholders and decision-makers.• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting processes.FP& A requirementsProven experience in financial analysis and modeling.Proficiency in tools such as Excel and financial modeling software.Strong understanding of variance analysis and its application in decision-making.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Effective communication skills for presenting findings to diverse audiences.Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, a Master's Degree is a plus
