The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented marketer who is comfortable managing events and content end-to-end. Key Responsibilities Flagship Event Management • Oversee all marketing and operational aspects of the organization’s flagship annual summit, including branding, digital campaigns, website content, email automation, ticketing strategy, and onsite attendee experience. • Develop and execute annual advertising plans across paid media, retargeting, organic social, email, PR, and related channels. • Manage and optimize event website content to ensure a user-friendly, engaging, and conversion-focused experience. • Partner with internal teams and external vendors on logistics, registration, exhibitor and sponsor deliverables, signage, and technical support (e.g., AV, event apps, hybrid platforms). • Track event KPIs and ROI, including attendee growth, engagement metrics, sponsor satisfaction, and post-event conversions. Conferences & Events Portfolio • Lead and execute the marketing strategy for the organization’s participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and partner events. • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance brand visibility, increase booth traffic, and drive qualified lead generation. • Build post-event reporting frameworks and create scalable processes for follow-up campaigns and ROI measurement. • Identify new event opportunities aligned with business objectives, audience needs, and growth potential. • Oversee onsite event execution, ensuring all operational elements are delivered seamlessly, including booth setup, materials distribution, registration flow, team coordination, vendor management, and overall event readiness. Thought Leadership & Content Marketing • Manage the organization’s thought leadership initiatives, including conference speaking opportunities, webinars, and educational programs. • Coordinate webinar planning, speaker recruitment, promotional campaigns, and post-event engagement efforts. • Produce and oversee content such as blogs, ebooks, whitepapers, and infographics tailored to target industries and aligned with brand voice. • Work collaboratively across teams to ensure content supports SEO, lead generation, and sales enablement goals. Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in event marketing and conference management, ideally within a B2B environment. • Strong background in digital marketing and content marketing. • Proven experience managing complex events from concept through execution, including logistics and vendor coordination. • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail. • Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Preferred • Experience with website management (e.g., WordPress), paid media, email automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and analytics tools. • Experience in technology or other innovation-driven industries is a plus. • Willingness to travel 20% or more for conferences, trade shows, and onsite event support.
