Sr. Digital Project Manager Hybrid in Carlsbad, CA 2x/week 6+ month Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of digital programs and initiatives for enterprise clients. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. The Senior Project Manager will oversee cross-functional teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, and serve as a trusted partner to clients by building strong relationships, identifying opportunities, and ensuring long-term program success. Responsibilities • Lead project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery across multiple digital initiatives. • Translate client requirements into clear deliverables, scope, and timelines. • Oversee cross-functional teams (strategy, delivery, design, technology) and define roles, responsibilities, and expectations. • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing solutions and mitigation strategies. • Lead client meetings, provide regular status updates, and foster strong client relationships. • Support account management activities including RFP responses, SOW development, and sales pitches. • Oversee forecasting, resource allocation, and reporting for project teams. • Create and maintain project documentation (requirements, process flows, testing, etc.). • Mentor and support junior delivery staff. • Contribute to process improvements, documentation standards, and best practice initiatives. • Identify and cultivate new client opportunities through consistent engagement and relationship-building. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required. • 6+ years in project or program management, preferably within a digital agency, consulting firm, or in-house transformation role. • Proven experience successfully delivering large, complex digital projects in client-facing roles. • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills. • Experience managing cross-functional teams, including technology and design. • Excellent communication, facilitation, and client service skills. • Knowledge of delivery methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid) and change management practices. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and implement effective solutions. • Magnolia CMS experience strongly preferred. • Industry experience in regulated sectors (financial services, healthcare, insurance, public sector, or non-profit) is a plus.
