Full Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal/Assistant to join our team on a remote contract basis in Henderson, Nevada. In this role, you will support the litigation process by preparing legal documents, managing court filings, and ensuring compliance with local court rules. This position offers flexibility and is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong background in civil litigation. Responsibilities: • Prepare and manage legal documents, including case conference reports, disclosures, discovery, and motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements. • Handle document production tasks such as base stamping, labeling, and e-filing in adherence to local court standards. • Ensure proper formatting and titling of legal forms in line with 16.1 local court rules. • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues within legal documents independently. • Convert Word documents with e-signatures into native PDFs compatible with Clark County District Court standards. • Collaborate with attorneys and team members to meet strict deadlines and ensure seamless case management. • Maintain organized and accurate records of case files and legal documentation. • Stay up-to-date on court-specific processes and requirements to ensure compliance. • Demonstrated experience working within the Clark County legal market, particularly with District Court procedures. • In-depth knowledge of 16.1 local court rules and civil litigation processes. • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Word, with the ability to provide necessary licenses if required. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently. • Familiarity with case management software and other litigation support tools. • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
