We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Oregon City, Oregon. This role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee financial operations, manage a dedicated team, and ensure the effective execution of accounting tasks. Ideal candidates will bring strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of budget management and fund accounting.Responsibilities:• Supervise and lead a team of five direct reports, ensuring efficient workflow and task completion.• Oversee the preparation and management of budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational goals.• Perform fund accounting and grant accounting tasks, maintaining detailed and organized financial records.• Conduct month-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting.• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate reports.• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial operations.• Collaborate with internal departments to support financial planning and decision-making.• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering growth and development.• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
