Forklift Operator for Asian food Warehouse Location: Brisbane, CA 94005 Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour Schedule • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM) Overtime may be required based on workload; flexibility is essential. Schedule may vary depending on operational needs. Job Summary The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently handling materials, including loading and unloading trucks and containers, inspecting products for damage or discrepancies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and dependable. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Safely operate forklifts and related equipment to move, load, and unload materials. • Pull products from containers or trucks for processing and storage. • Inspect product conditions and report discrepancies or damages. • Unload domestic and foreign containers (floor-loaded when required). • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse. • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. • Must have Forklift experience. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions. • Basic English speaking and reading skills required. • Must be a motivated, reliable, and safety-conscious team player. • Valid forklift certification is a plus (employer may provide training if needed). Work Environment • Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. • Requires standing, bending, lifting, and operating heavy equipment throughout the shift.
