Assistant Project Manager Wheaton, IL – Fully Onsite $93 – 104K (Depending on Experience) – Full Time with Benefits Take your career to the next level with us! R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager with a construction management background and experience in building construction, including new construction, and remodeling projects. The APM should be able to demonstrate and provide solid construction management services. We are seeking someone with 1-3 years of experience who is looking for career growth and path to advancement! Experience in commercial construction with a familiarity of trades is desired. Qualification Requirements: • Education – bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, or highly-related discipline required. • Experience – 1-3 years of commercial construction experience required. • Background in commercial construction, with familiarity of trades. • Daily travel to jobsite in Wheaton, IL. • CCM, PMP, LEED certifications are not required but are considered to be a plus. Key Responsibilities: • Assist PM and SPM in providing construction management services. • Daily observation and reporting. • Quality observation. • Good documentation skills & document tracking abilities. • Day-to-day on-site project management of new development projects. Key Competencies: • Strong problem solving and organizational skills. • Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks. • Pro-active and takes initiative.
