Job Overview This is a sales position salary + commission. We generate a steady stream of inbound leads and need someone who can respond quickly, follow up consistently, and close new projects. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of construction services and can confidently guide prospective clients through the sales and estimating process. They must be highly organized, able to juggle multiple opportunities at once, and maintain strong attention to detail. This role requires clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to build trust with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. The candidate should be comfortable managing handoffs to production and ensuring every project begins with clarity and alignment. Duties • Identify client needs and develop tailored project proposals that align with scope, budget, and timelines. • Lead sales consultations and guide prospects through the pre-construction planning process. • Create accurate preliminary estimates and pricing packages to support bids and close deals. • Use construction management tools like ProCore and Bluebeam to organize project documents and support the sales-to-production handoff. • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to drive repeat and referral business. • Review bid packages, negotiate terms, and secure commitments from subcontractors and vendors when preparing proposals. • Conduct pre-site visits to evaluate project conditions and ensure estimates are aligned with real-world requirements. • Provide clear and consistent communication to clients regarding timelines, expectations, and next steps. • Collaborate closely with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to execution. Skills • Strong understanding of construction estimating, scopes of work, and pricing strategies. • Ability to qualify leads, assess project needs, and prepare accurate proposals. • Familiarity with construction software such as ProCore and Bluebeam is a plus, especially for organizing documents and supporting smooth handoffs to production. • Comfort reading blueprints and technical drawings to communicate clearly with clients and subcontractors. • Excellent organization and follow-up skills to manage a high volume of inbound leads and active opportunities. • Team-oriented mindset with the confidence to lead sales conversations and guide clients through next steps. • Resourceful problem-solver who can address client questions, overcome objections, and keep deals moving forward. • Join our team as a Construction Account Manager and play a key role in helping clients begin their projects with clarity, confidence, and trust.
