SPANISH AND ENLGISH BILINGUAL OUTREACH SPECIALIST – REMOTE – DENVER, NYC, SAN ANTONIO Our client, a major non-profit organization that helps older adults use technology, seeks an Outreach Specialist for a part time 16 hours a week 18-month contract assignment fully remote. You must live in the Denver, NYC, or San Antonio metro areas. You will support the organization’s support center by providing digital literacy training and programming to older adults (> 60 years old). You will provide older adults with free human-centered support — via phone and email—to help them get connected to technology training, information, and resources. The role goes beyond call resolution to help callers build the confidence they need as they navigate today's ever-changing digital landscape. The weekly schedule is two to three days a week: Shifts will be in 4-to-5-hour shifts. Three days a week 3pm/4pm to 8pm and one day shift 12pm-4pm EST. Shifts are adjusted on a quarterly basis. Responsibilities • Offer personalized technical and training support to callers. • Promote the program and resources to callers. • Help callers connect to low-cost internet services. • Provide step-by-step technology guidance. • Make outbound calls to support various call campaigns. • Respond to emails using established templates. • Use a variety of job tools, including calls and customer relationship management systems, knowledge articles, scripts, and internal communication platforms. • Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately. • Participate in active on-camera weekly team meetings. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required. • Bilingual in Spanish and English. • 1 year of professional or volunteer experience working with older adults, including family and friends. • 3 years of experience working in social services. • Willingness and ability to work shifts that fall between 9am and 8pm Monday through Friday. (Schedule changes quarterly) • Ability to successfully shift between types of work as needed (e.g., inbound calls, outbound calling campaigns, email responses, customer service, tech support). • Ability to follow established procedures or search for creative solutions to issues/questions presented by callers that do not have an established procedure. • Ability to clearly guide callers through the resolution steps. • Ability to type accurately and at speed necessary to interact with callers. • Empathetic, patient, curious, driven, outgoing, and able to handle difficult customers.
