Marketing Project & Campaign Manager– Washington, DC - Remote Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid preferred; Remote option available) About the Role Our client, a large nonprofit organization advocating for older adults, is seeking a Marketing Project and Campaign Manager to join their Program Marketing and Communications team for a 1 year contract, which can be worked hybrid from DC or fully remote. This role plays a key part in supporting integrated marketing and communications strategies for their programs that serve vulnerable older adults. The ideal candidate is a skilled marketer with a strong background in campaign execution, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities • Execute integrated communications and marketing plans that advance the organization’s programs and services. • Collaborate with internal teams, channel owners, and external vendors to launch creative tactics across digital, print, and offline channels. • Develop creative briefs, oversee production, and ensure brand compliance of all assets. • Provide day-to-day client service and project support for assigned programs. • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder updates to ensure alignment and success. • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring adherence to the organization’s brand standards. • Partner with the editorial team to identify and highlight success stories, beneficiaries, and volunteer experiences. • Manage relationships with designers and agencies to develop high-quality marketing assets. • Measure and report on campaign effectiveness, leveraging research and segmentation data. • Identify opportunities for public relations, thought leadership, and digital engagement to support program objectives. • Collaborate across departments to align with enterprise-wide strategy and positioning. • Assist with special projects and provide solutions to day-to-day challenges. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. • 5+ years of marketing experience with emphasis on integrated strategy and execution. • Broad knowledge of digital, print, direct mail, broadcast, earned media, brand management, and campaign operations. • Strong project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and creative agencies. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with ability to prepare reports, proposals, and performance analyses. • Collaborative team player who can also work independently. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and handle challenges diplomatically. • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. • Experience in grassroots communications, issue campaigns, or agency environments a plus. Work Environment This role may be performed fully remote. If based in Washington, DC, hybrid work options are available at the National Office.
