As a Data Integration Specialist at Riverside Insights, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting the dots between technology and education. Your mission is to deliver secure, efficient, and accurate data integrations that empower schools and educators to focus on what matters most, student success. By combining technical expertise with exceptional customer support, you’ll ensure seamless connections across our platforms-DESSA, Data Manager, ESGI, and easyCBM-driving innovation and transforming the educational experience for thousands of learners. In this role you will get to: Efficiently establish and execute diverse integration types across all Riverside platforms with speed and precision. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, ensuring clarity and understanding in all correspondence and documentation. Deliver exceptional customer service by providing prompt and effective solutions and proactively addressing potential challenges. Acquire and maintain expert-level proficiency in data manipulation tools such as Excel, SQL, and Google BigQuery. Identify and implement process improvements, contributing to system enhancements and documentation updates. Share knowledge through training and support, fostering collaboration and continuous learning within the team. Requirements: Problem-Solving & Independence: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal supervision; proactive and organized in prioritizing tasks. Data Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning); comfortable with large datasets. SQL or BigQuery experience is a plus. Customer Interaction: Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and provide excellent customer support. Attention to Detail: Accurate in data mapping, transformation, and documentation. Time Management: Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines consistently. Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and share knowledge. Continuous Learning: Interest in professional development and process improvement. Adaptability & Curiosity: Comfortable with changing technologies and eager to learn. A plus if you have: EdTech Experience: Familiarity with Student Information Systems (PowerSchool, Skyward, Infinite Campus) and integrations like Clever or ClassLink. Advanced Technical Skills: Knowledge of APIs, SFTP, automation, or scripting for integrations. This role is an hourly position. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
