Position Overview The Social Media Coordinator supports Rivermark's marketing and brand objectives by creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across social media channels. This role helps tell our brand story by highlighting our commitment to financial wellness, community impact, and small business support. The Social Media Coordinator develops social media campaigns, manages the content calendar, monitors engagement, and provides insights that strengthen overall marketing and business strategies. Primary Responsibilities • Support the implementation of social media strategies aligned with organizational goals. • Create, write, and design engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. • Manage the social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting. • Coordinate and execute paid and organic campaigns, monitoring performance and making adjustments. • Engage with followers, members, and community partners, responding promptly and professionally. • Identify opportunities to highlight member stories, community involvement, and employee achievements. • Collaborate with marketing and internal partners to gather content and support cross-channel initiatives. • Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth. • Share member and community insights gathered from social media interactions to support broader marketing strategies. Qualifications Must-Haves • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum two years of experience creating multimedia content including copywriting, graphic design, and video production/editing. • Proven experience developing and executing social media strategies. • Strong writing skills with the ability to use brand voice creatively and effectively. • Basic photography, video creation, and short-form content skills. • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media data. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly. Nice-to-Haves • Experience working in a financial institution. • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools. • Experience with paid social advertising. • Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools. • Spanish speaking skills a plus.
