Role Overview: As a Senior Field Application Engineer specializing in Embedded Software, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between Riverlane's advanced software products and our clients' technical needs. You will provide expert guidance, technical support, and training to ensure successful implementation and integration of our embedded software solutions. What You'll Do: - You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their embedded software requirements and provide tailored solutions. - You will deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase Riverlane's software capabilities. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to embedded systems. - You will work with the product development team to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements. - You will develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and training materials. - You will support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise during the sales process. - You will conduct on-site visits and remote support to ensure successful deployment and integration. - You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software engineering or field application engineering. - Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS). - Experience with hardware-software integration and debugging tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams. - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in quantum computing or related advanced technologies. - Familiarity with Python scripting and automation tools. - Previous experience working in a client-facing technical role. - Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant technical discipline.
