Role Overview: As a Senior Field Application Engineer specializing in Embedded Software, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our advanced software products and customer needs. You will work closely with clients to provide technical expertise, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful deployment of our embedded software solutions. This role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge and strong communication skills to support and grow our customer base. What You'll Do: - You will collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored embedded software solutions. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to embedded systems and software integration. - You will conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical workshops for clients. - You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development. - You will develop and maintain technical documentation and application notes to support customer success. - You will assist in pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise and solution design. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded software and quantum computing. - You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in embedded software engineering or field application engineering. - You possess strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and embedded systems architecture. - You have hands-on experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hardware debugging tools. - You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - You are willing to travel to customer sites as needed to provide on-site support. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with quantum computing software or related technologies. - Familiarity with Linux-based embedded systems and scripting languages such as Python. - Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role or pre-sales engineering. - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant technical discipline.
