Job Title: Senior Field Application Engineer, Embedded Software Company Overview: Riverlane is a cutting-edge technology company specializing in quantum computing software solutions. Role Overview: As a Senior Field Application Engineer specializing in Embedded Software, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our advanced quantum software products and our clients' technical needs. You will provide expert guidance, technical support, and customized solutions to ensure successful implementation and integration of our software in embedded systems. What You'll Do: - You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their embedded software requirements and provide tailored technical solutions. - You will support the deployment and integration of Riverlane’s quantum software products within embedded systems. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to embedded software applications. - You will work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and product teams to communicate client feedback and influence product development. - You will deliver technical presentations and training sessions to clients and internal teams. - You will develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and application notes. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded software and quantum computing. - You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in embedded software engineering or a related field. - You possess strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and embedded systems development. - You have hands-on experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hardware interfaces. - You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues. - You have strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients. - You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with quantum computing software or related technologies. - Familiarity with Python and scripting for automation. - Knowledge of FPGA programming and hardware description languages. - Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role.
