Role Overview: As a Senior Field Application Engineer in Digital Design, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between Riverlane's cutting-edge digital design technologies and our clients' engineering teams. You will provide expert technical support, drive product adoption, and collaborate closely with both internal teams and customers to ensure successful implementation of our solutions. What You'll Do: - You will serve as the primary technical liaison between Riverlane and our clients, providing expert guidance on digital design solutions. - You will support pre-sales activities by delivering technical presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer needs. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to digital design products. - You will collaborate with product development teams to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements. - You will conduct training sessions and workshops to educate customers on best practices and product capabilities. - You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in field application engineering or a related technical role within digital design. - Strong expertise in digital design tools, methodologies, and FPGA/ASIC design flows. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. - Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a fast-paced environment. - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the quantum computing or semiconductor industries. - Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant technical discipline. - Familiarity with software development and scripting languages such as Python or TCL. - Prior experience in customer-facing roles within a technology company.
