Role Overview: As a Senior Field Application Engineer in Digital Design, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between Riverlane's advanced digital design technologies and our clients' engineering teams. You will provide expert technical support, drive product adoption, and collaborate closely with both internal teams and customers to ensure successful implementation and optimization of our solutions. What You'll Do: - You will serve as the primary technical liaison between Riverlane and our clients, providing expert guidance on digital design solutions. - You will support pre-sales activities by delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects. - You will collaborate with product development teams to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to digital design implementations. - You will develop and deliver training sessions and technical documentation to empower customers. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in digital design engineering or a related field. - You possess strong expertise in FPGA, ASIC design, and digital signal processing. - You have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. - You are proficient in hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog. - You have experience working directly with customers in a technical support or field engineering role. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with quantum computing technologies or related fields. - Familiarity with software development and scripting languages like Python or TCL. - Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced technology environment. - Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
