Role Overview: As a Senior Field Application Engineer at Riverlane, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our digital design products and customer needs. You will provide expert technical support, collaborate with engineering teams, and help customers optimize their use of our solutions to achieve their design goals. This role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills to drive customer success. What You'll Do: - You will provide technical expertise and support to customers on digital design products and solutions. - You will collaborate closely with product development and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product improvements. - You will conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops to educate customers. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to digital design applications. - You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure satisfaction and retention. - You will assist in the creation of technical documentation and application notes. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide informed guidance. - You will participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings to represent Riverlane. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in field application engineering or a related technical role. - You possess strong expertise in digital design, including FPGA, ASIC, or SoC design flows. - You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. - You demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging technical and non-technical audiences. - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - You are willing to travel as needed to support customer engagements. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with quantum computing technologies or related fields. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or TCL. - Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced technology environment. - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant technical discipline.
