About the role The Retail Logistics Operations Manager will oversee all retail logistics, distribution, and fulfillment operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and on-time delivery of our finished good products to both our natural and mass retail partners. This role plays a critical part in bridging supply chain, warehousing, and retail execution - ensuring seamless flow of finished goods, compliance with retail routing guides, and optimized cost-to-serve across multiple retail sales channels. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Demand & Supply Planning, and our external 3PL & fulfillment partners to ensure we meet retailer requirements, achieve service level targets, and continuously improve retail operational performance. What you'll do Retail Logistics & Fulfillment • Manage all outbound logistics operations for our natural and mass retail customers • Oversee 3PL warehousing and transportation partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. • Ensure compliance with retailer-specific routing guides, labeling, pallet configuration, and EDI requirements. • Track OTIF (On Time In Full) performance and develop corrective actions to maintain retailer scorecard expectations. • Partner with 3PL to manage order flow, allocations, and delivery schedules. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with demand planning to help identify and drive wholesale forecast improvement opportunities • Work closely with retail sales channel leads to ensure customer logistics expectations are met or exceeded. • Liaise with Finance on freight accruals, logistics budgeting, and cost reduction initiatives. • Support retailer supply chain enhancements, EDI functionality, and creative process improvements related to channel expansion Process Improvement & Reporting • Identify and implement process improvements in logistics, warehousing, and order management workflows. • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track logistics performance, freight costs, and fulfillment accuracy. Who you are • Decisive and Proactive Problem-Solver: you anticipate challenges before they arise and act swiftly to maintain flawless service to retail partners • Process-Oriented and Analytical Mindset: using data to drive efficiency, optimize inventory flow, and ensure retailer compliance • Calm Under Pressure: adaptable to shifting priorities, and resilient through supply chain disruptions • Entrepreneurial Spirit: a willingness to take initiative, think creatively, and operate with both urgency and integrity What you'll need • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations within the CPG industry. • Experience with natural and mass retail customers (i.e. Target, Walmart, UNFI, Costco, Ulta etc.) is a must • Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel, ERP/WMS systems (NetSuite Preferred) and BI tools. • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional projects. • Detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The salary range represents the entire compensation range for this position. Exact compensation will depend on a number of factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, level, years of experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
