Business Systems Analyst / QA Automation Analyst (Selenium) Location: Plano, TX Duration: 12 Months (High Possibility of Extension) Work Model: Hybrid — Onsite 3 Days/Week Work Authorization: W2 Only (US Citizens, Green Card Holders, or H1-B) About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Business Systems Analyst / QA Automation Analyst who brings strong cross-functional expertise in both business systems analysis and quality engineering. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation while driving high-quality software delivery across complex systems. You will work closely with product teams, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, enhance system functionality, execute testing strategies, and support ongoing initiatives across financial services, insurance, and enterprise application environments. Key Responsibilities Business Systems Analysis • Analyze, document, and validate business requirements, processes, integrations, and user workflows. • Create and maintain functional and technical documentation for new and existing applications. • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system enhancements align with business objectives. • Manage vendor interactions and ensure delivered solutions meet documented requirements. • Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on-call rotation. • Contribute to process improvements, best practices, and governance standards (BA, PM, Change Management). Quality Assurance & Automation (Selenium) • Lead both manual and automated testing efforts across multiple applications. • Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and scalable test libraries. • Review requirements to derive detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases. • Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and end-to-end testing. • Drive defect triage efforts, document defects, and ensure timely resolution. • Provide testing metrics, readiness assessments, and progress reports to leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to align testing and delivery timelines. • Coordinate UAT activities and ensure clear communication between business and technical teams. • Balance multiple concurrent projects while adapting to fast-paced, dynamic environments. Required Qualifications • 10–12+ years of combined experience in Business Systems Analysis, QA Engineering, or a similar hybrid role. • Strong experience within Financial Services or Automobile Insurance domains preferred. • Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, test automation frameworks, and scripting. • Deep understanding of BA methodologies, SDLC, QA processes, Agile/Scrum, and Change Management. • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder-coordination abilities. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. • Must be authorized to work on a W2 basis (US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or H1-B). • No C2C.
