You’ll play a key role in promoting independence, daily living skills, and community inclusion. Key Responsibilities * Support individuals with daily living needs, personal goals, and community involvement * Assist with meal preparation, medical appointments, and recreational activities * Administer medication (with AMAP certification) * Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging program environment * Complete required documentation and adhere to OPWDD and organizational policies What We’re Looking For * High School Diploma/GED required * Valid NY driver’s license required * Prior experience supporting individuals with special needs strongly preferred * Compassion, patience, and dedication to empowering others About Rising Ground Founded in 1831, Rising Ground has grown to serve over 72,000 children, adults, and families across New York City and Westchester every year.
