Job Summary: The Sales Manager responsible for driving sales performance by setting goals, developing sales strategies, coaching sales representatives (as business grows), managing budgets, analyzing sales data, and meeting or exceeding sales targets of our computation power service company. The position requires an organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual, enhance customer relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the sales function. A team player who can work effectively with sales, marketing, and technical teams Key Responsibilities: • Business Development: Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients in the AI and tech industries. Harness new LLM/AI tech to map out and generate quality leads. Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospect needs and pain points. Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their value. Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with broader marketing initiatives. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and the AI landscape. • Sales Strategy Development: Creating and implementing comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives, including market analysis, territory assignments, and sales forecasting. • Goal Setting: Establishing clear and measurable sales targets for the team, regularly monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed. • Sales Pipeline Management: Overseeing the sales pipeline, identifying potential bottlenecks, and ensuring timely progression of leads through the sales process. • Performance Analysis: Tracking sales metrics and KPIs, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments. • Customer Relationship Management: Fostering strong relationships with key clients, addressing customer concerns, and driving customer satisfaction. • Budget Management: Managing the sales budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize sales results. • Sales Reporting: Regularly presenting sales performance data to senior management, highlighting key trends and insights. • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments like marketing, customer service, and operations to ensure alignment and smooth sales execution. • Sales System Setup: Leading the efforts to establish the sales system including relevant policies, process and procedures. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in a tech-related field • Demonstrated interest in technology, particularly AI and GPU services. • Bonus: Familiarity with the AI startup ecosystem or cloud computing concepts. Compensation: We offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and skills. For this position, the on target total cash range is $100,000–$150,000 per year with aggressive upside opportunity, the actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and individual contribution.
