Ensure compliance of US HR/Payroll systems with legal requirements, convert legislative changes into functional specifications, and provide expert guidance on payroll tax.
7+ years of US Payroll experience with large multi-state operations, experience with SAP US HR/Payroll or similar ERP, deep understanding of US payroll legislation, and proficiency in Excel and SQL.
Job Description: • Ensure customer’s SAP HR/Payroll and Rimini Street US Payroll Tax Engine is compliant with legal requirements • Provide subject matter expertise in US HR/Payroll legislation related to payroll tax • Convert Business Requirements describing legislative change into functional specifications/product requirements • Work closely with the development team to ensure adherence to acceptance criteria • Provide end user documentation that is client-facing Requirements: • Experience (7+ years) US Payroll with large multi-state operations • Experience (7+ years) SAP US HR/Payroll or other large scale ERP system with integrated US Tax Calculations • In-depth understanding of US payroll legislation from tax calculation, withholding requirements, and reporting • A record of successful roles in multiple Enterprise Application projects (including full development and full QA lifecycle processes) • Exceptional analytical skills • Proficient in developing Business Analysis and Functional specification documentations from regulatory requirements and tax data • Explain payroll processes and calculations independent of ERP system • Manually calculate US Federal, State, and Local Taxes correctly without software or online calculator • Ability to accurately transfer understanding of all critical information relating to each tax and regulatory change to clients and various internal teams • Advanced Excel skills • SQL or SQLite Benefits: • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance • Disability insurance • Paid Parental Leave • 401(k) program • Generous Paid time off (PTO)
