Description: RDTS is seeking a senior-level Software Developer to support the State of Maryland's Register of Wills. This position shall support enterprise-scale application development, modernization, and ongoing enhancements within a multi-user Microsoft environment. This role includes leading development efforts, supporting large user bases, participating in testing, and delivering quality solutions. It is fully onsite in Annapolis, MD and full-time, Monday-Friday with standard office hours (i.e. 8:00am-5:00pm). RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and C#. • Troubleshoot and support enterprise-level systems used by large user groups (300+ users). • Develop technical documentation including flow diagrams, system plans, and testing scripts. • Implement program fixes, modifications, and enhancements. • Participate in the full SDLC with milestone tracking and reporting. • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary IT teams and stakeholders on solution delivery. • Support backup, disaster recovery readiness, and performance optimization tasks. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (OR 3+ additional years of directly related experience in lieu of degree). • 10+ years of software development experience preferred; minimum 7+ considered. • 5+ years of experience in C#/Microsoft Visual Studio development. • Experience in application/system support within large user environments. • Background in systems analysis, programming, and troubleshooting. • Ability to pass a standard employment/government background check. • Strong documentation and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience: • Experience with imaging/document management platforms. • Familiarity with state-level or enterprise government environments. • Experience supporting disaster recovery or replication strategies.
