Job Title: Medical assistant Job Type: Temp to Hire Shift: Days, 8 AM to 5 PM Job Overview: • Initial Role: Fax indexing in EPIC. Please note that as the project evolves, responsibilities within EPIC/InBasket may change. • This role is for typing or recording doctors’ notes, patient information, and medical details accurately into the EPIC EMR system. Required Skills: • Epic EMR experience. • Experience with medical documents (able to recognize type of document). • MA preferred but we are open to some Front Desk type people who have medical office experience already. • BLS Certificate. • MA Certificate is a plus. Job Type: Contract Pay: $21.00 per hour Benefits: • Health insurance Experience: • EPIC EMR: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
