Bachelor's degree preferred, 2-4 years HR experience, knowledge of HR laws and compliance, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of human resources duties, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policy support. This role ensures HR processes run smoothly and supports both employees and management in fostering a positive, productive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities: Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, development, and offboarding. Assist in administering employee benefits & leave programs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Partner with managers to address employee relations issues and provide guidance on performance management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in ADP & Personnel files. Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs. Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support organizational goals. Prepare HR-related reports and maintain compliance documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role. Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • HR in Senior Living Preferred Skills & Competencies: Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
