We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler: Essential Functions · Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to the required line or pre-batch area. · Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed · Responsible for complying with good manufacturing practices, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in the area. · Properly put away any warehouse picks · Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department · Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns · Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Handle and transport materials and equipment as needed (E.g., Forklift operation) Understand and verify the quantity/weight calculations to keep track of material consumption. Basic Qualifications · High School Diploma or GED required. · 2 Years of consistent and safe forklift operation on a stand-up forklift · The ability to read and understand line schedules and material needs · Positive attendance record · Safe operation of stand-up fork truck Desired Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
