Overview We are recruiting on behalf of a confidential client in the energy sector seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive major transformation initiatives across operations, quality, and reliability. This role will lead large-scale programs focused on root cause analysis, defect elimination, digitization, and operational readiness, delivering measurable improvements in cost, safety, and performance. The ideal candidate is a proven change agent with a background in LNG, oil & gas, or other industrial sectors, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and embedding sustainable process excellence. Key Responsibilities Initiative Leadership • Define scope, objectives, and success measures for enterprise-wide CI initiatives. • Develop roadmaps to deliver measurable improvements in performance, cost, and quality. • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) / Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate systemic issues. • Drive quality culture and elevate standards across internal teams and vendor partners. Operational Excellence • Facilitate workshops and Kaizen events to map processes and eliminate waste. • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methods to accelerate improvements. • Partner with IT/digital teams to deploy analytics, dashboards, and digitized workflows. Performance & Change Management • Establish and track KPIs for cost savings, defect reduction, and process adoption. • Provide leadership updates on progress, risks, and corrective actions. • Coach and mentor cross-functional teams on CI tools and cultural adoption. • Build internal change champions to sustain improvements. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or equivalent experience. • 10+ years of experience in operations, quality, or continuous improvement within LNG, oil & gas, energy, or heavy industry. • Proven success leading major initiatives with measurable results. • Experience with LNG construction, commissioning, or operations (highly desirable). • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. • Skilled in RCA/CAPA tools (TapRooT, Gensuite) and process mapping. • Strong executive presence, communication, and influencing skills. • Results-driven with a focus on accountability and follow-through. Performance Metrics • On-time delivery of initiative milestones • % reduction in operational defects and rework • OPEX savings and EBITDA uplift • Adoption rate of new processes, tools, and systems • Replication of improvements across other business units
