Ribbon Bio is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our expanding commercial team. The successful candidate will develop a territory sales plan in partnership with Business Development Managers and the Head of Sales to identify, build, and nurture relationships that align to our commercialization strategy and objectives. Tasks Lead Sales initiatives to research, identify, and perform outbound engagement of new business prospects to deliver growth to the sales funnel. Qualify and manage inbound leads in our CRM (Salesforce.com) Develop and deliver quotations to customers for Mirosynth™ products Advance new business opportunities to close Post sale order processing and logistics coordination with Production Scheduler Provide accurate sales forecasting in CRM Monitor industry and application trends, compile voice of customer, and partner with internal stakeholders to hone go to market strategies Requirements 2+ years of experience supporting pharma/biopharma/CDMO markets in a Sales, Customer Success, or Technical Support capacity. Knowledge of Cell and Gene Therapy, mRNA Vaccine, Contract Development Manufacturing markets Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (biology, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, genetics/genomics, genome engineering, chemistry etc..) required. Exceptional organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills Preferred locations: Europe or East Coast United States Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong knowledge of Office 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams. Comfort and familiarity with Salesforce.com. Passionate about enabling customer success without compromising personal or professional integrity. Ability to apply critical thinking skills to efficiently problem-solve customer issues via email and phone. Ability to travel <10 % for attendance of internal sales meetings, training, company functions.
