The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing all of Ria's products and services, primarily focusing on independent channel agents in the Southern California Division, to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with our company's vision and values. The Sales Manager will report directly to the Divisional Sales Director and will primarily be responsible for establishing plans, implementing strategies, supporting sales teams in their area of expertise, and contributing to increasing sales and expanding our agent network in the Independent Agent Market. The Sales Manager will lead the new wire acquisition initiatives in the Division, by targeting existing or new locations with incremental volume potential and using different tools to acquire that volume for the franchise. Responsabilties • Generate leads and recruit new agents every month in all Ria corridors. • Actively and successfully manage the sign-up, set-up, and training of an agent in our money remittance platform and compliance programs. • Develop existing agents to reach their full potential, promoting all of Ria's products and services. • Achieve and exceed the monthly transactions and new agent targets. • Work closely with potential and existing agent locations to acquire new transactions. • Maintain strong relationships and provide solutions to retain customers and increase transactions. • Analyze market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, • Evaluate company reports to address, reinforce, or correct market and/or agency performance trends and capitalize on market opportunities. • Monitor daily exchange rates and volume growth on existing and assigned accounts. • Make fact-based recommendations on product pricing and commission. • Execute both self-conceived and assigned marketing plans to support transaction growth. • Work closely with agent locations to do grassroots activities to promote business. • Participate in community and industry events to promote Ria's services and products. • Document daily activities such as sales calls, visits, future appointments, plans, and submit a weekly report regarding expansion efforts, market intelligence collection and growth plans. • Other duties, projects or territories as assigned. Qualifications • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English • Must possess experience in cold calling, product demonstration and selling products or services • Ability to travel within assigned territory daily, have a valid driver's license, reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the company and state law • Must possess basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization • The key characteristics this individual must possess are strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work well without supervision, self-motivation, and good time management. • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in money transfer, money service business, top-ups, or selling products to SMB customers. • Ability to work from home and travel to the assigned territory daily. • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time as a driver in an automobile. • Ability to visit businesses and work in tight places to install equipment.
