A Brief Overview As a member of the Securities Data Management team, the Securities Data Management Analyst will be responsible for daily security masters, transactions, pricing, and ratings processes. As part of this role, the Securities Data Management Analyst will work closely with several internal and external teams to resolve issues quickly and add value by executing a number of simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision and exemplary follow through. What you will do Enter and maintain security masters, transactions, pricing, and ratings data in investment systems to ensure accurate downstream reporting. Perform and maintain data quality and validation checks to ensure the accuracy of investment data before loading to downstream systems. Ensure that data exceptions are captured and documented appropriately to facilitate continued improvement of the data management environment. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Investment’s front, middle, and back office as well as with RGA corporate partners. Monitor trade flow from electronic trading platforms (Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, etc.) and affirmation platforms. Ongoing care and feeding of systems and processes for investment data. Support projects and initiatives that drive the Investment Data Strategy. Qualifications Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, or equivalent working experience 2+ Years experience in the financial industry Preferred: Experience with investment operations processes and systems Familiarity with BlackRock Solutions Aladdin, Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, or comparable systems Skills and Abilities Required: Intermediate knowledge of broad investments business practices Intermediate knowledge securities such as fixed income, middle market bank loans, direct senior, mezzanine, and private equity, equity real estate joint ventures, commercial mortgage loans, and lifetime mortgages Intermediate knowledge of investment market data Well organized with the ability to multi-task and effectively manage changing priorities Ability to work independently, as well as in a team Intermediate level of investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills Intermediate Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Tableau Intermediate SQL/Query Skills #LI-MB1 What you can expect from RGA: Gain valuable knowledge from and experience with diverse, caring colleagues around the world. Compensation Range: $76,100.00 - $108,050.00 Annual Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
