In addition to an online store, Rexel USA has a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations throughout the U.S. Job Description Summary: The Director of Talent Management plays a pivotal role in shaping the future-ready talent pipeline for the Rexel regions and business units you support. This role will lead the design and implementation of comprehensive talent management programs that align with national priorities, while addressing the unique needs of each region. The Director of Talent Managements strategic vision and leadership will ensure Rexel attracts, develops, and retains top talent across the organization. What You'll Do: • Talent Assessment and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough assessments of regional talent and skill needs, leveraging stakeholder feedback and dashboard data to identify key priorities. Analyze internal and external trends to inform talent management strategies and initiatives • Program Design and Implementation: Design and develop national talent management programs that can be effectively applied across various regions, specialty businesses, and functional groups. Roll out comprehensive learning and talent management initiatives, including onboarding, leadership development, and functional training programs tailored to regional needs • Digital Engagement: Maximize engagement with digital platforms to enhance the learning experience and streamline talent management processes • Succession Planning and Talent Reviews: Co-lead the succession planning process, talent reviews, and career development conversations for assigned regions and business units. Ensure all leaders and successors have development plans that align with professional and organizational goals • Communication and Influence: Effectively communicate national learning, career, and talent programs within assigned business units to ensure alignment and engagement. Participate in leadership staff meetings, employee town halls, and other forums to share talent management solutions • Internship & Trainee Program Management: Oversee internship & ACE programs, including recruiting, hiring, and managing ACE employees to build skills, retain and prepare them for Rexel careers • Marketing and Communication: Develop, implement, and continuously improve marketing and communication strategies for talent management initiatives. Ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged with talent management programs and resources • Employee Engagement and Appreciation: Design and implement employee appreciation experiences that foster a positive workplace culture.
