The Mission of This Role We are seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations & Community to design and lead a world-class investor platform. This leader will steward our LP relationships with precision and excellence while cultivating a true community of investors who are Rexan at the core and deeply aligned with our mission to catalyze human flourishing through stewardship. You will own every major investor touchpoint—from weekly insights and monthly updates to quarterly reports, livestreams, and our annual investor summit with Peter Rex and senior leadership. The mandate is to deliver transparency, trust, and consistency at the highest institutional standard while building an engaged, mission-driven investor base that sees itself as an integral part of our ecosystem. What You'll Do • Own & Elevate Investor Communication: Lead and deliver all major touchpoints including weekly insights, monthly updates, quarterly reports, livestreams, and our annual investor summit. • Steward Relationships with Precision: Build lasting LP trust by delivering clarity, consistency, and transparency at the highest institutional standards. • Design & Cultivate Investor Community: Foster a mission-driven community where investors identify as Rexans—aligned in values and engaged beyond capital commitments. • Leverage Technology & AI: Employ digital tools, CRM platforms, and AI-driven systems to scale communications while keeping interactions warm, authentic, and high-impact. • Drive Reinvestment & Engagement: Ensure strong participation in current and future offerings by maintaining consistent touchpoints and reinforcing our differentiated mission. • Partner with Leadership: Serve as a strategic extension of Peter Rex and senior leadership, ensuring investors are deeply connected to the vision and trajectory of the business. Ideal Candidate Profile • 4–8 years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, private equity, or a related field. • Digitally native and AI-driven; comfortable leveraging tech platforms to scale community and communication. • Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate complex financial and strategic insights into compelling narratives. • Program-oriented, reliable, and detail-obsessed in execution—delivering investor experiences that inspire confidence. • Missionary to the bone: deeply resonates with Rex’s mission and views investor stewardship as a calling, not just a job. • Passionate about building community and fostering authentic relationships that go beyond transactions. • Strong preference for Austin as home base; fully remote role with required travel for investor meetings and strategic events. For finance focused positions a credit check may also be required. We operate in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. At this time, we will only hire people who live in or will relocate to those states. We have a strong preference for Texas and Florida as the majority of our portfolio is within those states.
