Role Overview Rex is seeking an Associate Recruiter – High Value Targets: a proven hunter of elite talent with 3–5 years of experience and a track record of identifying and closing top performers. The ideal candidate is capable of recruiting across tech, private equity real estate, insurance, and beyond, highly skilled with LinkedIn, AI, and recruiting technologies, and masterful at navigating networks to surface top-tier talent. They know how to strategically deploy external recruiters to expand reach while maintaining cost control and clarity. This role demands exceptional presence: someone who commands attention over video, phone, and in writing, with the charisma and conviction to win over the best. We’re looking for a relentless recruiter with bloodhound instincts who thrives on landing high-value hires, operating solo and with high autonomy. Note: this is an Individual Contributor leadership role, not a management role. The Role As Associate Recruiter – High Value Targets, you will execute full-cycle recruiting to land elite professionals across Rex’s diverse business verticals. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role that requires sourcing, engaging, and closing candidates with precision and speed. You must thrive in a high-performance environment, leveraging judgment, creativity, and resilience to win over top talent. You will build sourcing pipelines, utilize advanced recruiting tools and AI, and selectively manage external recruiter relationships to extend reach. This role involves direct collaboration with senior leadership and demands the ability to juggle multiple high-priority searches simultaneously while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Key Responsibilities • Lead targeted recruiting efforts for high-value roles across technology, private equity real estate, insurance, and adjacent sectors • Source and engage top-tier candidates through direct outreach, networks, and modern recruiting tools • Craft compelling outreach and job marketing that captures elite candidate attention • Leverage AI tools, LinkedIn, and recruiting platforms to identify hidden and high-potential talent • Strategically manage third-party recruiters when needed, ensuring cost control and clarity • Partner closely with senior leadership to align on role priorities, scope, and cultural fit • Maintain a professional, mission-driven candidate experience at every stage • Track recruiting activity and performance, iterating on tactics to improve results Qualifications • 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a track record of closing top performers • Strong expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting technologies, including AI-driven tools • Ability to uncover and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing strategies • Exceptional communication and presence over video, phone, and in writing • Ability to operate independently as a high-output individual contributor in a lean, high-accountability environment • Experience recruiting across multiple sectors (tech, private equity real estate, insurance, etc.) • Executive presence and credibility when working with leadership and elite candidates • Mission-aligned: purpose-driven, committed to catalyzing human flourishing, and fully aligned with Rex’s culture Rex Ecosystem-Wide Mission Catalyze Human Flourishing through our products/services and to elevate/further humanity in all our business dealings.
