1 year contract, onsite only based in Ocoee, FL (southwest Orlando area) Position Summary: We are seeking an AV Support Technician to support enterprise audio visual and collaboration technologies across a dynamic environment. This role provides both in-person and remote technical support for conferencing systems, AV hardware, and collaboration platforms. You’ll handle installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and end-user training while delivering high-touch service and clear communication. This position includes significant travel and hands-on support of meeting spaces and live events. Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and support AV systems and video conferencing setups • Provide support for virtual meeting platforms (MS Teams, Zoom, GoTo, etc.) • Support Microsoft Teams Rooms–certified equipment and collaboration spaces • Monitor systems via Teams Admin Center and vendor monitoring tools • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related AV issues • Perform AV system commissioning, rack builds, and structured cabling work • Configure and support control systems (Crestron, Q-SYS) and DSP platforms • Train end users and technical staff on collaboration technologies • Maintain asset tracking and detailed technical documentation • Collaborate with broader IT teams on projects and initiatives • Support events, including after-hours work and 50% travel to remote sites Required Skills & Experience: • Enterprise IT and AV support experience preferred • Strong knowledge of AV signal flow, AV over IP, and cabling standards • Experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, DSP configuration tools • Microsoft 365 / Office 365 proficiency (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word) • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
