Job Description JOB OVERVIEW The Director, Business Development & Key Accounts, is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive category sales, promote products, and enhance Fox’s online presence. This role will manage key account relationships, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support senior leadership in achieving business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and digital growth strategies, a solid understanding of key account management, and the ability to leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaigns. This position reports to the VP of NA Sales and Market Development and offers flexibility to work from a home office or our Irvine, CA location. As the Director of Business Development & Key Accounts, you will: 1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement targeted sales and marketing strategies to drive account penetration, brand awareness, and online sales for consumer goods. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Merchandising, Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance, and Creative to align initiatives with overall business goals. Support the planning and execution of key account management and marketing campaigns across channels such as digital, email, and trade marketing. 2. Business Analysis and Development: Analyze channel trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and address market needs. Use data-driven insights to measure performance, optimize strategies, and improve ROI. Manage budgets for key account sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation. 3. Market Analysis: Stay informed on emerging trends, tools, and technologies, recommending enhancements to business development efforts. Ensure brand consistency across all channels and maintain alignment with brand guidelines. Monitor market share, inventory, and turn rates, creating actionable plans to achieve growth targets. 4. Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support business development initiatives. 5. Leadership Responsibilities: Provide guidance and support to team members focused on key accounts, fostering collaboration and high performance. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. 6+ years of experience in sales and digital marketing roles, preferably in consumer goods. Experience working with key account buyers and planning teams across multiple market segments. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and best practices; familiarity with SEM, SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing is a plus. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders. Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Lightspeed, Wiser, Google Analytics) and ability to interpret data for actionable insights. Proficiency with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and CMS tools. Excellent analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for the action-sports and outdoor industry with an understanding of consumer behavior in the digital space. Pay Range: Annual Salary: $160,000.00 - $181,500.00 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
