Job Summary: The IT Support Technician provides technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role ensures the smooth operation of IT systems by troubleshooting problems, maintaining equipment, and delivering excellent customer service. Job Activities and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are subject to change. * Handle user inquiries via phone, email, or in person regarding hardware, software, and network issues. * Work within our ticketing system to diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly and efficiently. * Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications. * Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up user accounts and devices. * Document support requests, resolutions, and maintain accurate records in the ticketing system. * Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues. * Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols. * Assist with procurement, both in the ordering and setup of new equipment. Qualifications and Education Requirements: * Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (degree not required based on relevant experience) * Experience: 1-2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience. * Skills: * Working knowledge of Windows operating systems. * Working knowledge of M365 and related products. * Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). * Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Physical Requirements: * Ability to sit for extended periods. * Effective communication skills via telephone and email. * Ability to lift forty (40) pounds.
