About the Role We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Geospatial team (Farsight), where you’ll play a key role in ensuring quality across a complex, multi-platform product (Windows, Linux, Android, Cloud, and XR). In this role, you’ll help design and execute test strategies, contribute to automation efforts, and work closely with developers and product teams to deliver reliable, high-performing software. You’ll be joining a collaborative QA group that takes ownership from day one and has a direct impact on how features are built and released. This is an opportunity to be part of a team where quality isn’t just tested at the end—it’s built into everything we do. \n Responsibilities Partner with engineers to design test plans for complex, multi-platform features involving rich visual and geospatial data. Execute manual and automated test cases; analyze results and drive root-cause investigations. Perform end-to-end product testing across Windows, Android, XR, ATAK, and Linux. Build, run, and maintain automation using Unity3D (C#) and Playwright (TypeScript). Partner closely with the QA Lead and engineering teams to extend and evolve our multi-platform Unity automation framework. Partner with the QA Lead to mentor other QA engineers in automation techniques, tooling development, and modern QA strategies. Help define and refine QA processes to ensure consistent, scalable testing across all platforms. Requirements At least 5-7 years of experience on teams building, testing, and shipping complex software We are open to 3-5 years of experience for someone with a Computer Science degree and automation experience Bachelors Degree in a technical field Proven experience with both manual and automated testing. Strong C# experience Experience with Unity3D and Playwright Familiarity with Playwright or similar automation tools (Cypress, Puppeteer, Selenium). Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD pipelines. Experience in at least one additional programming language (TypeScript, Python, C++). Strong analytical mindset; able to break down complex problems and communicate clearly with engineers and Product. Comfortable reaching out across teams to gather clarity, resolve ambiguity, and drive alignment. Experience with Test Management Software Experience with Linux/OSX/Windows command line Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. Nice to Haves Experience in Geospatial Testing Environments Exposure to ATAK, tactical mobile applications, or field-data workflows. Experience with Android ADB tools, Android debugging, or instrumentation-based testing. Compensation Salary ($80,000 - $120,000) + Equity Salary is determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
