Role Overview We're looking for an AI-Augmented Developer specializing in WordPress and React ecosystems. This pioneering role represents the future of development—where effectively leveraging AI tools enhances your technical capabilities and dramatically increases your development efficiency and output quality. What Makes This Role Unique This isn't a conventional development position. You'll be at the forefront of AI-assisted development, using advanced AI tools to accelerate and enhance the creation of features across our platform. Your ability to effectively communicate with AI systems will be as valuable as your technical knowledge, allowing you to accomplish what traditionally required larger development teams. Our Technology Ecosystem Our platform is built on a versatile technology stack that includes: • WordPress core with BuddyBoss for community features • GamiPress for engagement and gamification • Custom WordPress plugins and extensions • React for interactive front-end interfaces • React Native for mobile experiences • n8n and similar tools for workflow automation Key Responsibilities • Leverage AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to rapidly develop new features and functionalities • Create and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and components with AI assistance • Develop and enhance React/React Native interfaces for web and mobile experiences • Build automations using n8n to streamline processes and enhance user experiences • Craft effective AI prompts to solve complex development challenges • Troubleshoot and optimize existing codebase using AI diagnostic capabilities • Document successful AI-collaboration approaches and prompting strategies • Integrate third-party services and APIs into our platform Required Skills & Experience • Foundational knowledge of WordPress development including hooks, filters, and theme customization • Basic understanding of React and React Native principles • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript • Demonstrated experience using AI tools for coding assistance (with examples) • Problem-solving mindset and logical thinking • Ability to break down complex requirements into actionable development tasks • Comfort with learning new tools and approaches independently Preferred Qualifications • Experience with BuddyBoss, GamiPress, or similar WordPress extensions • Previous work developing custom WordPress plugins • Practical understanding of React component architecture • Familiarity with workflow automation tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make • Portfolio examples demonstrating AI-assisted development projects • Experience integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL with WordPress What Sets the Ideal Candidate Apart • You see AI as a collaborative partner in the development process • You're excited about exploring the boundaries of what's possible with AI assistance • You understand both the capabilities and limitations of current AI tools • You can effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions using AI • You're comfortable in a role that bridges traditional development and emerging AI capabilities What We Offer • Opportunity to pioneer in the emerging field of AI-augmented development • Continuous learning environment with access to cutting-edge AI tools • Collaborative team focused on innovation and practical solutions • Chance to shape the future of our platform and the role of AI in our development process Company DescriptionAt REV, we offer a strategic solution with our Meaningful Connection Training.
