Social Media Intern Company: ReturnBuddy Employment Type: Internship | Part-Time | Remote Role Summary The Social Media Intern will support ReturnBuddy’s growth by creating engaging digital content and driving paid advertising across social platforms. This role plays a critical part in building brand awareness, educating users on the ReturnBuddy experience, and converting viewers into customers. Success in this role looks like consistently producing high-performing content, contributing to measurable increases in engagement and customer acquisition, and helping establish ReturnBuddy as a recognizable and trusted consumer brand. This position works closely with the founder and marketing leadership and fits directly into ReturnBuddy’s go-to-market and growth strategy. Responsibilities • Develop, create, and publish short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn to support brand awareness and user acquisition • Ideate, script, film, and edit social media content aligned with ReturnBuddy’s brand voice and customer pain points • Assist in planning, launching, and optimizing paid social advertising campaigns • Analyze content and advertising performance metrics to inform improvements and iteration • Research and apply current social media trends, platform updates, and best practices • Collaborate cross-functionally to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives Qualifications • Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram Reels • Experience creating or editing short-form video content using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment • Interest in digital marketing, advertising, startups, or consumer technology • Prior experience managing social media accounts or running ads (personal or professional) preferred
