Role Overview: As a Customer Service Healthcare Representative, you will be the frontline support for our healthcare customers in North Carolina. Your role is essential in assisting members with their insurance plans, healthcare screenings, and appointment scheduling, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls related to healthcare inquiries and insurance plan details. - You will assist customers with reviewing and making changes to their member insurance plans. - You will schedule healthcare screenings and appointments efficiently. - You will provide accurate information and resolve customer concerns promptly. - You will document interactions and maintain detailed records of customer requests. - You will collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues. - You will stay updated on healthcare policies and insurance regulations. - You will contribute to a positive customer experience by demonstrating empathy and professionalism. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. - Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with healthcare insurance plans and terminology. - Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience in a call center environment. - Knowledge of North Carolina healthcare regulations.
