Your role is vital in assisting members with their insurance plans, healthcare screenings, and appointment scheduling, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls related to healthcare inquiries and insurance plan details. - You will assist customers with reviewing and making changes to their member insurance plans. - You will schedule healthcare screenings and appointments efficiently. - You will provide accurate information and resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism. - You will document customer interactions and update records promptly. - You will collaborate with team members and healthcare providers to ensure customer satisfaction. - You will stay informed about healthcare policies and procedures to provide up-to-date assistance. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly. - Proficiency in using computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. - Problem-solving skills and a patient, empathetic approach to customer interactions. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a healthcare call center environment. - Knowledge of North Carolina healthcare regulations and insurance plans. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Certification or training in healthcare customer service.
