Role Overview: As a Customer Service Healthcare Representative, you will be the frontline support for our healthcare customers in North Carolina. Your role is vital in assisting members with their insurance plans, healthcare screenings, and appointment scheduling, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls related to healthcare inquiries and insurance plan details. - You will assist customers with reviewing and making changes to their member insurance plans. - You will schedule healthcare screenings and appointments efficiently. - You will provide accurate information and resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism. - You will document interactions and update customer records accurately. - You will collaborate with team members and healthcare providers to ensure customer satisfaction. - You will stay informed about healthcare policies and procedures to provide up-to-date assistance. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. - Proficiency in using computer systems and customer management software. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with healthcare insurance plans and terminology. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience in a call center environment. - Knowledge of North Carolina healthcare regulations.
