What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls related to healthcare inquiries, including insurance plan reviews and change requests. - You will assist customers with healthcare screenings and appointment scheduling. - You will provide detailed explanations of member insurance benefits and coverage. - You will resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. - You will document customer interactions accurately in the system. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to facilitate customer needs. - You will stay updated on healthcare policies and procedures to provide accurate information. - You will contribute to a positive customer experience by demonstrating empathy and patience. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. - Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with healthcare insurance plans and terminology. - Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience in a call center environment. - Certification in customer service or healthcare-related fields.
