What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls from customers seeking assistance with healthcare insurance plans and services. - You will review and process detailed change requests on member insurance plans. - You will assist customers with healthcare screenings and appointment scheduling. - You will provide clear and empathetic communication to resolve customer inquiries effectively. - You will document customer interactions accurately in the system. - You will collaborate with team members and healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery. - You will stay updated on healthcare policies and insurance plan details to provide accurate information. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly. - Basic knowledge of healthcare insurance plans and terminology. - Proficiency in using computer systems and CRM software. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a healthcare call center environment. - Familiarity with North Carolina healthcare regulations and insurance policies. - Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish. - Certification in customer service or healthcare-related fields.
