Role Overview: As a Customer Service Healthcare Representative, you will be the frontline support for our healthcare clients in Missouri, assisting customers with inquiries related to their insurance plans and healthcare services. Your role is vital in ensuring customers receive accurate information and compassionate service. What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls from customers regarding healthcare insurance plans and services. - You will review and process change requests on member insurance plans accurately. - You will provide detailed explanations of healthcare benefits and coverage options. - You will resolve customer issues with empathy and professionalism. - You will document customer interactions and maintain accurate records. - You will collaborate with team members and healthcare providers to ensure customer satisfaction. - You will stay updated on healthcare policies and insurance regulations. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly. - Basic knowledge of healthcare insurance plans and terminology. - Proficiency in using computer systems and CRM software. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a healthcare call center environment. - Familiarity with Missouri state healthcare regulations. - Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish. - Certification in customer service or healthcare-related fields.
